While there isn't a direct way of notifying users, you can always find out what tags are available like by running the following:

install_ocssw --list_tags

That being said, we are *hoping* to get the next V tag out in early March.

Hello, the messages are correct. SeaDAS and its' processors do not currently support Sentinel-2C. I will check with the team to see if this may change in an upcoming release.
