Re: What's the resolution of ECOSTRESS gridded product?

Hello, They are supposed to be 70 meters which would be about 0.00063. However, if they are being processed at all the pixels would probably be resampled which would explain a small difference. For instance, if AppEEARS was used and the data was projected the pixels would go through some modicum of ...

Re: MCD12C1 [hdf] reproject python

Hi, I think the user guide is not real clear in this instance. The MCD12Q1 and the MCD12Q2 are the tiled products (1200 x 1200-kilometer tiles), and each tile consists of 2400 x 2400, 500m pixels in the Sinusoidal projection. The documentation is referring to those 2 products. The MCD12C1 is differe...

Re: Determining fill/invalid values in MOD17A3HGF

Hi Amy, Probably the most accurate way to decide if these higher value pixels are valid are to check with the QC layer. The Psn_QC_500m has this information within its encoded bits. Please see pages 22 and 23 of the User Guide for the bit index. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, ...

Re: Question regarding artifacts in ECOSTRESS level 3,4 ET product

Hello, The STARS algorithm (input into ET) is a data fusion between the high-resolution HLS (harmonized Landsat Sentinel) and the daily VIIRS data, which can result in artifacts like these when there isn’t enough high-res data (e.g. if the last Landsat image was cloudy). These artifacts will be impr...

Re: VNP43MA1 v002 is not available anymore

Hi,
Sorry for the delays with this. This is not a VNP43MA1 issue, but rather it is a CMR issue. They are aware of this and think they can resolve it in a few hours. Please try again this afternoon. Thanks for your patience.

Re: Unable to download data through R

Hi Christina, Following is an example of a MOD16A2GF granule: https://data.lpdaac.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/lp-prod-protected/MOD16A2GF.061/MOD16A2GF.A2024361.h01v10.061.2025019222926 I think you could just change the lead-in to the granule ID from e4fl01 to the cloud and it should work. Please see th...

Re: Sudden reduction in available GEDI granules across L2A/L2B/L4A/L4C

Hi Simon,
Could you try that search again. The CMR which is where the access tools go to find the metadata was having some issues earlier, but it is worked out now. Please let us know if it still is not working for you.
Thanks,
Brett

Re: Unable to download data through R

Hello,
The LPDAAC Data Pool (e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov) was retired a couple of months ago. So that endpoint is no longer valid. It is all available now in the LPDAAC cloud. so the endpoint will need to reflect that. Please let us know if you have any question.
