Re: Normalized Insolation Clearness Index

We currently do not have the Normalized Insolation Clearness Index implemented in the POWER API but we plan to do so in the future. The equation you found on the POWER website was previously used. The previous equation used an approximation for airmass. In the future, when we reimplement the NKT equ...

Re: NASA Prediction Of Worldwide Energy Resources

Thank you for the replay we are working on the issue currently and expect to have it resolved in about a week; we will be updating the API to respond with updated units 'kg m-2 s-1 10^6' instead of the 'kg m-2 s-1' that currently has the precision issue. That unit change is a scaling factor of 1 mil...

Re: POWER

No problem at all. Currently the POWER Data Access Viewer (DAV) only includes wind data at 2 and 10 meters but the POWER API will allow users to access wind data at 50 meters. See more at: https://power.larc.nasa.gov/docs/tutorials/api-getting-started/ An example API link: https://power.larc.nasa.go...
