Using the ASF API (https://docs.asf.alaska.edu/api/basics/) or Python Search Module (https://docs.asf.alaska.edu/asf_search/basics/) are programmatic options that allow for large volume downloads.

The ALOS PALSAR RTC product package files cannot be downloaded individually.

The only free high-resolution DEM I am aware of is the 1-meter DEM from the US Geological Survey. But it only covers the continental United States, which does not serve your needs.

Try enclosing the password in single quotes ('password') and let us know if this doesn't help. And it doesn't hurt to enclose the username in quotes as well.
