Question: ASF API download authentication libcURL

Re: ASF API download authentication libcURL

Hello Loris,
Try enclosing the password in single quotes ('password') and let us know if this doesn't help. And it doesn't hurt to enclose the username in quotes as well.

Thank you,
Bill Hauer

Re: The next resolution

The DEM file included with the ALOS PALSAR RTC product .zip file is a copy of an open-source DEM that was downloaded, modified, and used to perform radiometric terrain correction (RTC) on an ALOS PALSAR granule. The height values of the modified DEM differ from the source DEM because an ellipsoid co...

Re: Sentinel-1 Interferograms in EarthData

The unwrapped interferogram is the displacement product, according to JPL (https://aria.jpl.nasa.gov/products/standard-displacement-products.html). They do not provide individual files for vertical and line-of-site displacement like the ASF HyP3 On Demand service provides. If you would like more inf...

Re: When does new Sentinel-1 data become available through ASF

Hello Drew, A system issue that developed around the start of the new year affected the transfer of Sentinel-1 data from ESA. This was resolved, and the transfer resumed. However, the backlog of data that resulted took some time to clear, and I suspect this is the cause of the delay in finding new d...

Question: Sentinel-1 RTC via ASF - OPERA

Re: Sentinel-1 RTC via ASF - OPERA

Hello Peter, ASF does not process OPERA products but is the distributor for the products created by the OPERA team at JPL. They do not plan on back-processing RTC products like they plan on doing with the CSLC products. If you've incorporated SNAP into your RTC processing workflow, you might take a ...

Re: When does new Sentinel-1 data become available through ASF

Sentinel-1 products are ingested at ASF as they are received from ESA. These then become available to download immediately. This process is continuous unless there is a problem with our data "pipeline." We recently experienced one of these problems, where the volume of data received from E...

Re: UAVSAR Data Consultation

Newer versions should reflect improvements/enhancements/corrections to the processing algorithm. I would suggest that you pick the latest version and only use these data for your analysis.

Re: UAVSAR Data Consultation

UAVSAR data available from ASF have been processed at JPL and sent to ASF for distribution. No further processing is done once a product is received at ASF. The only change made is to add a UA_ prefix to a JPL product name. Documentation for the UAVSAR products is available from JPL, and this includ...

Re: Ship Detection Project Share Using ASF API

Hello Drew, Thanks for sharing the results of your project -- we're always eager to learn how data downloaded from ASF are being used. We have a team that has investigated using SAR for ship detection, and I'm sure they'll find your work extremely interesting. I'm anxious to share this with them. Sh...
