Re: mismatch in ntime

Thank you Don. I did not realize it needed a "T series" version so I had gotten the latest "V series" one. Now when I try to get the install script I get a 404 error: $ wget https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/manafest/install_ocssw --2025-12-29 21:20:40-- https://oceandata.sci.g...

Re: MODIST Status

Andy,

Thank you for fixing the issue with viewing subscriptions!

Alas the subscription in question is just fine. It turns out the processing is failing in l2gen, I just started a new thread about that.

mismatch in ntime

Whenever we try to process MODIST data using l2gen we get the following error: /home/dshea/linux_64/ocssw/oel_hdf4/libl1/xcal.c Line 148: mismatch in ntime I tried a clean install of OCSSW to tag V2025.5 but the error is persisting. Could you please give me a way to resolve or work around this issue...

Re: MODIST Status

Sean, Thank you for your reply. We're downloading using non-extracted subscription #2551. It may have expired. When I try to access the active subscription list to find out I get a page that says .:. ERROR .:. Ocean Biology Distributed Active Archive Center (OB.DAAC) This happens regardless of wheth...

MODIST Status

We have not been able to download MODIST L1A data from both OB DAAC and LANCE for a while (I think it stopped during the government shutdown but may have restarted and stopped again since then). I know Terra end of mission / instrument turn off was anticipated to be "December 2025". Has th...

Re: Querying OBPG VIIRS L2 granules through CMR

That's great information to know, thank you Tommy! I adjusted our scripts to use the OB_CLOUD collection id's.

I noticed that he 11 nm SST L2 data only seems to have OB_DAAC collection id's. Are they going to get depreciated too at some point?

Re: Querying OBPG VIIRS L2 granules through CMR

Thank you for your reply. So as I suspected I was missing something :) So the "regional" in the product name is referring to the granules not the level of global coverage. Sort of like the MODIS "Local Area Coverage" granules being able to generate a global data set when combined...

Querying OBPG VIIRS L2 granules through CMR

We're looking to query OBPG generated VIIRS products through CMR and not finding what we expect. I would specifically like to query L2 Ocean Color (OC) NRT granules on a global basis for all of the VIIRS instruments. When I look in the earth data search tool I am only finding regional entries. Am I ...
