I'm interested in generating my own climatology baseline, rather than use the one provided. How would I do this? My intuition tells me it is all of the years combined, and then averaged, but is that proper usage of the rasters? Is there a better way?

I already have the text file in same directory as the *nc files I am trying to bin from the GUI. I have also edited the txt file and written the absolute paths to my *.nc files and it still did not work. Same error.

Okay that's fine, but still, when I run: cat /Applications/seadas-7.5.3/VERSION.txt I get 'No such file or directory.' I am now realizing that the error most certainly pertains to the fact that seadas l3bin function is attempting to put the new file into a directory that does not exist, ...

there is no error because when I run it from the command line, it works. it does not work from the visualization tool, and I have checked all of the txt files for spaces.

When I run (in a terminal) ls -ld /Applications/seadas* I get drwxr-xr-x 18 biancabroman admin 576 Jun 10 10:28 /Applications/seadas-7.5.3 (I did uninstall the older versions).
When I run cat /Applications/seadas-7.5.N/VERSION.text the result is No such file or directory

It does not appear to have 2 variables as far as I can tell. I have also uninstalled all older versions of SeaDAS.
