Re: Tempo feed entries missing "updated" field
It doesn't look like there are any metadata timestamps in the JSON result, just the start and end time of the observation. So I think our only option is to use the more expensive UMM JSON endpoint to list the granules.

Re: Tempo feed entries missing "updated" field
Thanks for the response. The granule contents all look reasonable, with the start and end times correlating with the filename, and the download URL is correct. Here's a full response of the same query that I just (3:31 PM EDT on 2026/6/5) ran, showing that "feed.entry[0].updated" is not pr...

Tempo feed entries missing "updated" field
When querying for TEMPO V4 products via the JSON API, we noticed that the "updated" field is not among those returned in each feed entry, such as "feed": { "updated": "2026-06-04T12:21:34.712Z", "id": "https://cmr.earthdata.nasa.gov:443/search/g...

OPERA: Difference between time_start and acquisition time
We recently noticed slight differences between the value of the "time_start" field of a granule and the acquisition time encoded in the filenames for OPERA. For example: { "feed": { "updated": "2026-06-03T13:46:54.920Z", "id": "https://cmr.earth...

Data availability for GLDAS_NOAH025_3H (C1342986035-GES_DISC)
Hi, We have noticed that data for the source C1342986035-GES_DISC (published in Google Earth Engine as NASA/GLDAS/V021/NOAH/G025/T3H) has not been updated since January 31, 2026. According to the Earthdata search portal, the latest available granules are dated 2026-01-31. However, we have not seen a...

Re: MODIS/VIIRS fire standard products?
Thank you, Danielle! Do I understand correctly that the 47 series is the newest product version with the highest quality? Then we'd probably want to ingest those datasets first. We are already ingesting the NRT FIRMS products, but after they stop being refreshed (within a day or so after the observa...

MODIS/VIIRS fire standard products?
Question: is there a place to quickly get all the standard fire products in bulk? I know there is an ordering API (https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/content/academy/data_api/firms_api_use.html), but it would be nice to just get the full dataset, like we can do with NRT fire data by downloading CS...

Missing date ranges for VNP46A2.002 dataset, CMR ID: C3365931269-LAADS
I am interested in understanding if there are any known or documented data gaps within the VNP46A2.002 dataset. Dataset : https://cmr.earthdata.nasa.gov/search/concepts/C3365931269-LAADS.html I tried CMR search for a few date ranges and they are returning no data for those date ranges. Examples: htt...

Re: Number of parallel reads from CMR API?
Thank you, John! I was using an old CMR support mail cmr-support@earthdata.nasa.gov that no longer works. I'll continue with support@earthdata.nasa.gov
