Re: gpt WriteImage - where did it go?
At the command line, the science processor L3mapgen is capable of writing an image file of a specific band using a color palette. But this doesn't include the general tools such as map gridlines or any of the GUI layers tools.

Re: How to Export Mask Pixel with Aqua Modis Chlor_a Data in SeaDas
Hi, this is a newer tool which works on level-2 files but has an issue with level-3 files. Essentially it needs a "Masks" folder in the "File Manager". The default level-2 file has the "Masks" folder (since the file contains flags), but most default level-3 files will n...

Re: SeaDAS can no longer find "requests" package
You need to add the python executable to your PATH environment variable. When you check out an anaconda python working environment, you then get it's path by typing "which python3". Then add that to the front of your PATH environment variable. It also depends on whether you are running fro...

Re: Pace data export
One caveat to our earlier response... level-2 data is NOT mapped data. In order to convert level-2 data into a GeoTIFF format, you need to map it (which then causes it to essentially not be exactly level-2 data in the pixel-by-pixel sense). There are many SeaDAS tools for mapping a level-2 file (Rep...

Re: Pace data export
You can export a file to GeoTIFF using SeaDAS. To do this, load the PACE LEVEL 2 data into SeaDAS. Select the file in the File Manager. Then go to "Menu > File > Export > GeoTIFF". Save it. To load the GeoTIFF back into SeaDAS go to "Menu > File > Import > Generic Formats > GeoTIFF&qu...

Re: Issue with SeaDAS pixel extraction
Your GUI indicates that you are trying to write to "E:\out" so you might want to make sure you have this output directory selected correctly.

Re: Issues loading sample OCI file
... Adding to my response. You can control your Mac file finder view permissions here "System Settings >> Privacy & Security >> File and Folders". Go here and unwind any java apps (which is what SeaDAS is using) and grant permissions. If this doesn't work, try putting your data files e...

Re: Issues loading sample OCI file
SeaDAS no longer supports pre-launch PACE simulation files. Regarding why no files show up in your SeaDAS finder, it is likely a Mac permissions issue on your particular directories. SeaDAS does support drag and drop (which could be a workaround for you). Your Mac should have prompted you for permis...
