I read that, in order to solve the issue in the subject, Ocean Data provided new de200.eos files valid for 64 bit Linux and MacOS systems at:https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/ocssw/de200.eosI have a 32 bit linux system to process MODIS raw data. Thanks again Danny!  Is the difference between binning and mapping just that in mapping, resampling (nearest, bilinear interpolation, etc.) takes place so ALL output pixels have values?I prefer to think of MODIS as a challenge!  Heck, I have a challenge just posting and reading this forum!...
