modis r2022 par data problem

Hi there, Just noticed that the 8day, 9km par data has a recurring swath of missing data in the north pacific. Extreme case can be seen in 2003 for the 8day file starting on day 041, which gives the southern most extent of the missing data. It repeats on other years. You can see this if you look at ...

Re: 8day files

Thanks. I misunderstood the directories listed by day. 8day files are under their start date. Most appreciated.

8day files

Hi there

Is direct access only available to daily mapped files, or is there a route to get 8day mapped files ?

Thanks

sst 'NRT' naming

Hi thereI have noticed that the mapped 8day SST daytime product has a new naming starting on day 361 of 2020 and continuing into 2021.  I've checked the header info, and it's R2019 processing, and can't see significant differences with previous headers.  Here's an example of the file naming:  AQUA_M...

Hi Norman
I had no idea about the processing version indicating QL (!)  I will take that into account in future use of the data.
Thanks for checking on this and letting me know the status.

Hi Norman
The only difference in the files was that I started with the 9km data.  I was about to upload gifs on this, when realized it's even visible in the thumbnails on the level-3 browser (before = Nov 5 - Dec 2; after = Dec 3 - Dec 10 images).
Thanks for looking into it.  Robert

Hi thereThere seems to be something off in the adg_443_giop data, when going from 2019329 to 2019337.  It's a global loss of value, and stays that way in the next available 8day periods (up through 353).  The offsets do not appear in the VIIRS version of the same.  Thoughts? ...
