MODIS Aqua SST data citation and documentation

I am trying to find the citation for the MODIS Aqua SST data, but can not find it.
The data that I have downloaded has the naming as follows: AQUA_MODIS.20180101_20180108.L3m.8D.SST.sst.9km.nc

Any guidance on where I can find the data citation would be very helpful.

Thank you very much!

I realised this and I now understand that in the attributes where it says suggested_image_scaling_type=LOG is when you plot the image to use a log scale.

Baby steps to getting it right, but getting there.

Hi xuanyang02,

I have given it a look and that is also why I know I am doing some thing wrong.

I would also like to get the mean and sd and compare to a biogoechemical model so that is why I would like to use the data.
