Re: l2gen boundary arguments not working in SeaDAS8.1

Brian, you could revert it to the previous version (V2021.1), it works well. -- Zhigang

Re: how to remove bowtie for VIIRS imagery in SeaDAS

Yes, I would like to improve the appearance thourough filling those deleted pixels at the edges of scans. I processed the data using the ocssw in Ubuntu 18.04. I found that the data generated by l2gen without subset options could get beautiful image after reprojection. But the results with subset op...

how to remove bowtie for VIIRS imagery in SeaDAS

Greetings, I am processing some VIIRS data in SeaDAS with V2021.1 processor. The input data is L1A and GEO data downloaded from the ocean color portal. confusion to the transmittances in calculating rhos using SeaDAS

Hi, In the old post of ocean color forum (https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/forum/oceancolor/topic_show.pl?tid=2229), I learn about that SeaDAS made adjustments for variours transmittances in calculating rhos (surface reflectance): rhos = PI / F0 / mu0 * (Lt / tg_sol / tg_sen - Lr) / t_sol / t_sen / ...
