To estimate the monthly concentration of the following products: CHL, ADG, KD 490, you can browse and download L3m files here -- https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/l3/ You can also browse and download L2 files here that ha...

Re: Treatment with seadas

To process SeaDAS OCSSW in Windows, you need the client/server model --https://seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov/client_server/ If you don't want to deal with client/server model, you might want to use the general tool (mosaic) instead of the SeaDAS-OCSSW processors (l2bin & l3mapge). See the other post --ht...

Re: I cant read in the data from MODIS AQUA in R

I don't know if you are familiar with SeaDAS -- a comprehensive software package for the processing, display, analysis, and quality control of ocean color data. https://seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov/ You can use l3mapgen to reproject an L3b file to an L3m file and open it with SeaDAS --https://seadas.gsfc.na...

Re: MODISL2 hdf to tiff and reprojection

So MODIS_2008097_SWIR.hdf is the L2 file created by l2gen? What SeaDAS tool did you use to create the tiff file MODIS_2008097.tif?

Are you able to use the reproject tool in SeaDAS to create the GeoTiff file? https://seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov/help-8.2.0/desktop/Reprojection.html
