Re: Is there an API for spatially subsetting and downloading GEDI data?
GEDI data are still planned to be added to AppEEARS and then would be accessible through the AppEEARS API in the future, but currently we do not have a definitive date for when the data will be added.

Hi @demmapdata Correct, if you are downloading and using the NASADEM product, you only need to follow the NASADEM license (CC 0.0).

Our science team continues to look into the error you are seeing but are having trouble replicating it. In the meantime, they recommend using AppEEARS or the AppEEARS API to access the HLS data: https://appeears.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/

Re: AppEEARS API throwing a 405 error
A few years ago, the link to AppEEARS API changed from https://lpdaacsvc.cr.usgs.gov/appeears/api/ to https://appeears.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/api. Please ensure you are using the newest link and that should resolve the 405 error. Thanks! -- Danielle
