Re: Climate data access
Because this is satellite data, the spatial resolution of the data may be larger than the size of the zone region. Have you examined the different variables in Giovanni that you may wish to use?

Re: Climate data access
I looked at a map of Ethiopia that showed the zones, and this technique likely would not work for the smaller zones. However, the larger zones may be approximated with a bounding box. My example is for the Borena zone.

Re: OCO-2 spatial resolution
Here is more information on the OCO-2 level 2 data. The data image shows what the Level 2 daily data look like, which are discrete points along the ground track of the sensor.

Re: OCO-2 spatial resolution
Are you seeking data for specific locations? You should be able to download data at original resolution as Level 2 files, but it is not mapped to a grid, so you would only get the footprint data values.

Re: Climate data access
Hello, sorry for the delay for this reply. We do not have a capability for countries to provide data for geographic boundaries other than the country boundary. Thus, such regions as counties or provinces, or as you describe, zones, cannot be delineated with shapefiles. Our best recommendation is to ...

Re: SST
Note, Level 4 data refers to data that is a model output of some kind. You would have to specify what dataset you were visualizing to provide a better answer.

Re: SST
Hello,
What spatial resolution do you require? The Giovanni system can provide a time-series of MODIS-Aqua SST data for the length of the mission (starting in mid-2022) using the MODIS-Aqua Level 3 data with 4 km resolution.
Please reply if this would be acceptable and I can explain further.

Re: PIC Algorithms
SeaDAS processing from Level 1A to Level 2 should allow the application of a coccolithophore bloom mask. I'll send a message to the OBDAAC staff to alert them to your question.
