Re: Climate data access
Hello, sorry for the delay for this reply. We do not have a capability for countries to provide data for geographic boundaries other than the country boundary. Thus, such regions as counties or provinces, or as you describe, zones, cannot be delineated with shapefiles. Our best recommendation is to ...

Note, Level 4 data refers to data that is a model output of some kind. You would have to specify what dataset you were visualizing to provide a better answer.

Re: SST
Hello,
What spatial resolution do you require? The Giovanni system can provide a time-series of MODIS-Aqua SST data for the length of the mission (starting in mid-2022) using the MODIS-Aqua Level 3 data with 4 km resolution.
Please reply if this would be acceptable and I can explain further.

Re: PIC Algorithms
SeaDAS processing from Level 1A to Level 2 should allow the application of a coccolithophore bloom mask. I'll send a message to the OBDAAC staff to alert them to your question.

Re: Climate data access
Hello Shukuru, We would be glad to assist with the use of Giovanni. Note that because the data is either from satellites or from models that utilized satellite data as input, it will not go back as far as the 1800s. Some datasets begin in the 1980s (1979 is considered the beginning of the satellite ...

Re: land surface temperature, future/predicted
Good question! Prediction / forecast data is not commonly found at the NASA Earth science data archives. However, NASA does have some modeled climate prediction data. See below for one suggestion.
