Subscription ftp request not filling

There seem to be plenty of data in both directories:ftp://samoa.gsfc.nasa.gov/subscriptions/MODISA/XM/timothy.moore/2954/ftp://samoa.gsfc.nasa.gov/subscriptions/VIIRS/XM/timothy.moore/2934/...well, the MODIS is shy a little due to a data ingest issue we're recently suffered, all should be back t...

getanc.py (seadas 7.3.2 ) stop working

Vega,We support the current and previous version.  So, since the current version is 7.4, 7.3 is still supported.  When 7.5 is released, our support for 7.3 will be to tell you to upgrade . The code will still work, but if it stops working, we won't fix it.  In this case, the...

getanc.py (seadas 7.3.2 ) stop working

Vega,

SeaDAS 7.3 should be back in action....however, you should upgrade.  When 7.5 is released (this summer),  7.3 will no longer be supported

Processing Landsat 8 images with L2gen

Not really.  We are planning a release of SeaDAS this summer to finally include processing support under Windows.
The OCSSW update will likely coincide with that release.

error during MODIS Aqua definition installation using terminal

> /Applications/seadas-7.3.2/ocssw/run/data/hmodist/l2bin_defaults.par: No such file or directory

If that file (indeed the hmodist directory) doesn't exist, then you did not successfully install the MODIS-Terra data tree.

GIOP L2 products available via subscription

Plans, yes.  But, I find I'm often hit across the back of the head by this quote when I reveal a plan..."the best laid schemes o' Mice an' Men,  Gang aft agley"

So, I won't promise a deadline :)

l2bin questions

Dulci,
The output of the l2bin program is a bin file, the format of which is not readily displayed in SeaDAS as it is not a raster. Use l3mapgen to create a map to visualize the data.

Direct Data Access, how to retrieve metadata?

The email should have been sent when the first image was staged.  Might have gone to your spam filter.
All extracted subscription requests are (currently) staged on our FTP server.  Your requests are here:
ftp://samoa.gsfc.nasa.gov/subscriptions/MODISA/XM/starbright/

Direct Data Access, how to retrieve metadata?

Yes, there will be redundant granules as each subscription is treated separately.
Just make a single request with a box big enough to cover your ROI polygon.
