SeaDAS 7.3 should be back in action....however, you should upgrade. When 7.5 is released (this summer), 7.3 will no longer be supported

Not really. We are planning a release of SeaDAS this summer to finally include processing support under Windows.
The OCSSW update will likely coincide with that release.

If that file (indeed the hmodist directory) doesn't exist, then you did not successfully install the MODIS-Terra data tree.

The output of the l2bin program is a bin file, the format of which is not readily displayed in SeaDAS as it is not a raster. Use l3mapgen to create a map to visualize the data.

Yes, there will be redundant granules as each subscription is treated separately.
