The output tiffs should be scaled for point data, but for area samples they are not scaled. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Unfortunately, that delay is to be expected. The atmospheric input data used to process the MOD/MYD21A1 data sets are created monthly after the end of the corresponding month so there will always be that delay.

Hi Jennifer, I believe the aerosol type is in the Status QA SDS layer. Bits 9-10 are referred to as AOD Type. Hi, The latest that we hear is that back processing will resume in February and be complete by the end of the year. The Sentinel data was reprocessed so that access to the data will be much less problematic which will make the processing of the HLS Sentinel go much smoother. Thanks for your patience...
