Re: MODIS MOD09A1 Product negative reflectances
Hi Niklas, Sorry, but I don't think there is much that can be done about that, the MOD09 products are not recommended for water pixels. The "anomalies" that you've identified, e.g. negative reflectance values, are known issues in MODIS along with many other Surface Reflectance products suc...

Re: Error loading into memory HLS data
Hi Charlie, We've updated the HLS_Tutorial.ipynb to include a try loop around reading of the HLS files via https. There seems to be some sort of network issue that can cause that error, and it appears to be independent of the code being executed in the notebook. We would recommend adding a retry loo...

Hi Katya, Sorry for the delay. They are not recoverable, unfortunately this will occur more often as the Terra and Aqua platforms orbit decays. Please see the following also: Data gaps or missing data have become more of a routine occurrence for Terra, Aqua, and Terra+Aqua Combined MODIS data produc...

Re: MODIS band 6, or LSWI, at 250m resolution?
Hi Tim,
Unfortunately I am not aware of any entity that has resampled the 500 meter data to 250. MODIS Bands 1 and 2 are the only 250 meter bands and bands 3-7 are 500 and 8-36 are 1000 meters. WIsh I could be of more help.
Thanks,
Brett

Re: Problems downloading VNP15A2H v002 vegetation products
Hi Enrique, Yes, that is a good idea and that is in the works. Right now the data base administrators are accessing what is all missing. It varies with each product. The data providers are not giving us any timeline, as I don't think they have any idea at this point. Thanks for your patience. Brett

Hello, Yes, the VNP14A1 V002 has been released. Unlike V001 it is not available in the Data Pool, but rather it is in the cloud. It can be searched for and ordered through the Earthdata Search Tool: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search/granules?p=C2545314541-LPCLOUD&pg[0][v]=f&pg[0][gsk]...
