Re: geoMetaVIIRS for JPSS2
Dear Marco Laiolo: Currently, we are working on generating geoMeta for NOAA-21 (JPSS-2). We are hoping to have this available sometimes towards the end of February or early March. Please, check back around that time. These will be available at: https://nrt3.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/archive/geoMetaVIIR...

Re: LAADS DAAC API-V2 VIIRS Data Product Latency
The latency information provided in the table on the EarthData webpage are accurate. So, latency varies with type and level of a product, but generally between few hours to few days and in some cases (for higher level products) even a month or more.

No, it will select all granules that intersect with the defined bounding box. So, search will find all granules listed in your examples and will not ignore any.

Re: How to select low level warm water cloud fraction in MODIS MCD06COSP dataset
In MODIS L3 COSP, the cloud fractions are aggregated at different pressure levels, there is no layer overlap: Cloud_Mask_Fraction: (all pressure levels: total column) Cloud_Mask_Fraction_Low: (CTP >= 680 hpa) Cloud_Mask_Fraction_Mid: (440 hpa <= CTP < 680 hpa) Cloud_Mask_Fraction_High: (CTP < 440 hp...
