Level 2 products for all hico bands

No, not yet anyway.  The l2gen program cannot yet handle hyperspectral data.

HICO l2 projection problem

Yes, using GPT (the Graph Processing Tool).   We're still working on a decent tutorial for this, however, there are several posts on this forum with examples.
There is also an overview presentation on the subject.

Sean

HICO l2 projection problem

By default, the Reprojection tool uses a nearest neighbor resampling approach.  It offers two others: bilinear and bicubic. If you select the bicubic approach, the reprojected image does not have these 'wing-like' artifacts.  I will contact our BEAMpartners (who developed the reproj...

Correcting offset in HiCO geolocation

James, There is a ground control point feature. With this you can "attach" a geocoding based on the GCPs you define (need at least three know points, the more the better).  I've discovered that the landmask/coastline feature isn't recognizing this attached geocoding - we'll look into that ...

HICO level 2 processing

Christophe,

No, not yet anyway.  We do not produce L2 files from HICO operationally, in part because we've not had time to assess the calibration.
Eventually, we will, but for now the gains are set to unity.

Sean

HICO level 2 processing

It's nothing super secret  HICO can be commanded into a special calibration mode where it will record 384 spectral bands.  There are only a few scenes like this.I don't think the version of the code in the current SeaDAS release will handle these files, although our current develo...

HICO level 2 processing

HICO has 128 bands (or 384, but we'll not go there...), but our processing code currently only supports multispectral instruments.SO, we only read in the bands that match the MERIS band set.  This means that we can produce the same products with HICO that we can produce with MERIS - althoug...

No worries, I've chased many a phantom in my day (most of my own imagination), I'm sure this won't be the last
