Zeu or ZLEE data download via Direct Access?
The "units" attribute in the bin file are not being properly updated for non-OC product suites (which includes the angstrom product), so this is likely this source of your confusion as to the units for ZEu. They are in meters. I see that you posted a separate question about the...

MODIS SST L2bin
If you save the parameter file from your binning process, and attach it to a post, we may be better able to help. That said, if you are trying to replicate the standard SST binning (at higher resolution), then you have done what you need to do by setting suite=SST.You don't need to change ...

Is there a mask/way to retrieve ocean-only values in SeaWiFS products?
Yes, it is possible with SeaDAS. You would need to generate a mask using a combination of the products generated from the "Coastline, Land and Water Masks" and "Bathymetry and Elevation" tools, with some additional tweaks to handle the larger inland water bodies (US G...

The subscription has the "wait for refined processing" bit set. So, it will not see data within the default 3-day look-back for the file search utility.Look back longer:wget --post-data="subID=1706&addurl=1&results_as_file=1&sdate=2017-03-30" -O - https://...

Subscription 1706 is still active, with a termination date of 31 Dec 2022 (should be listed when you log into the subscription page)
It is a non-extracted subscription, so the access method is as described on the subscription FAQ.

VIIRS SST Processing
Running getanc.py will both print to the terminal and generate a <filename>.anc file with the ancillary parameters necessary for processing.
You need to either add the parameters to your own par file (or command line) or pass par=<filename>.anc (in your case $L1AFile.anc).

Chlorophyll-A algorithm question
Yes, it is arbitrary, but it is also an order of magnitude larger than any value we would have any expectation to be real (and thus quite extreme). The data set used to generate the algorithm has very few concentrations higher than 50mg/m3, and none at the CHLWARN flag max of 100 mg/m3.So, if the alg...
