Re: Spatial Subsetting Applications

Hi Earthdata Search - kaewal01 The Application for Extracting and Exploring Analysis Ready Samples (AρρEEARS) would meet your needs! AppEEARS allows you to upload a shapefile or geojson or draw a polygon and will subset the data spatially for you and provide you with a nice mosaic in the end as eith...

Re: AppEEARS vs. Other NASA Data Platforms

Hi njlyon_0.00 Thanks for the question. A lot of the different tools to access NASA Earthdata provide different functionalities such as visualizing or bulk downloading the data. AppEEARS is a great tool specifically if you are looking to subset data spatially, temporally and/or by band/layer. Using ...

Re: MOD13Q1

Hi jbauza There are several MODIS datasets that are a couple of weeks behind. We believe this is related to a Level 0 data issue that occurred in early July. The MODIS Science Team is aware of the issue and is working on resolving it and processing the data as quickly as they can. Hopefully we shoul...

Re: MYD11A2 061 tile(s?) missing on CMR

Hello @valpesendorfer As new data are delivered to the LP DAAC, there may be discrepancies in what is available in the LP DAAC Data Pool vs. CMR. Those differences are constantly being reconciled and typically all data should be available within the following week in CMR.

Re: MOD13Q1

Hi @jbauza 161 is the most recent data we have in our archive. I'll check with our SDLC team and the MODIS science team to see why that data is delayed.

Re: MOD11A1 + MYD11A1 only available on LPDAAC until 7/2/23

Hi bfpowell Here is what we heard from the MODIS team. The MxD11s are created using MCD43 data. There was some missing L0 data used to generate the MCD43s that they MODIS team is working on processing. Once those are available the 11s will resume. We are working with the MODIS team and hope to have ...

Question: Why is there no MOD17A2H v061 data from 2000 to 2020?

Re: Why is there no MOD17A2H v061 data from 2000 to 2020?

This is to be expected. When the MOD17A2H v061 data was released it was created in the forward stream. If you are looking for these data from 2000 to 2020 we recommend using the MOD17A2HGF product instead: https://doi.org/10.5067/MODIS/MOD17A2HGF.061 as it is an improved product. Please note: The MO...
