Question: GPP MYD17A2HGF units 8day

Re: GPP MYD17A2HGF units 8day

Hello,
I don't believe it would be advisable or accurate to divide by 8. It is probably unlikely that each day of the 8-day period had the same GPP value. So, it would be best to leave it as 8-day cumulative.
Thanks,
LPDAAC

Re: FPAR product MCD15A2H stopped on 1st June?

Hi, Yes, could you email us through our LPDAAC email: lpdaac@usgs.gov It is a better way to set this up, we can then email a form for you to fill out. Basically, all we need is the product, your area of interest (preferably tile range), and the temporal period, which we can just leave open ended. Th...

Hi Mattia, Would like to be set up on a subscription so that when data is ingested into the archive it can automatically stage an order and send you a notification? Or it can also be set up to ftp push data directly to a server on your end. This will be available for the next 1-2 years as after that...

Re: Negative values from HLS products

Hello, Negative values are common anomalies in Surface Reflectance data. These are generally caused by water. The atmospheric correction and surface reflectance retrieval algorithms are not ideal for water bodies due to the inherently low level of water leaving radiances and consequently very low SN...

Re: MCD43 16 day data looks like 1 day?

Hello Joe
I will check into this particular granule. They are still considered 16 days, but it does not necessarily mean all 16 days of collections were able to be considered in each granule.
Thanks,
Brett

Hello,
The mean would be for the 8-day data sets, not the individual days within the 8-day products. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Re: Emit Aggregated Spectral Abundance

Hello, These do not need to be scaled, those are the actual percentages. Please note that those 10 minerals make up just a fraction of what the dust is composed of. This will be the case all the time. So those 10 minerals will probably never make up 100%, or even come close. Also, Version 2 of this ...

Hi, I am not familiar with "rest API". However the data is current. You may want to access it it a different way if that is not working. I just ran an Earthdata Search you can use this link to get the data: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search/granules?p=C2222147000-LPCLOUD&pg[0][v...

Re: MOD13Q1 NDVI data preprocessing

Hello @q1w2e3r4
Please take a look at the AppEEARS tool: https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/tools/appeears/
I am not sure which interface you had initially tried, but I believe AppEEARS will perform the processing that you desire. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Brett

Hello,
MODIS true color band combination is 1,4,3 RGB. You may need to stretch it sometimes, but that should do it.
Thanks,
