Re: MODIS MOD13Q1 access problem

Hi Daniel,
I think it is the URL you are trying to access. There is not a folder from 12/30. The last 16-day period from 2018 is 12/19. Could you give that a try and let me know if it still is a problem.
Thanks,
Brett

Question: MODIS NDVI Scaling Issue

Re: MODIS NDVI Scaling Issue

Hello, It appears that the software is manipulating the data somehow. I pulled the granule directly from the Data Pool and ran the statistics: Stat capture.PNG Stat capture.PNG It seems that your software is first attempting to scale the data, but rather than multiplying by 0.0001 it is multiplying ...

Question: VIIRS daily (VNP09GA) 500m quality flags

Re: VIIRS daily (VNP09GA) 500m quality flags

Hello,
Yes, that is correct, as those are the only QA that directly pertain to that product. It is not unlike the MOD09GA where they suggest using the 1-kilometer State flags over the Band QA. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Brett

Re: Unit conversions of ET data from MOD16A2 and missing MOD16A2 pixels

Hello, The MODIS Science team recommends the use of the MOD16A2GF whenever it is available: https://doi.org/10.5067/MODIS/MOD16A2GF.061 Because the 16A2GF can only be processed annually the 16A2 is still being processed as a place holder for the current year. Currently, the MOD16A2 is archive from J...

Re: VIIRS V2 Vegetation products generation schedule

Hi Duan, Sorry for the delay with the VIIRS processing. You are correct, they are not complete with the back processing, especially 2020 as several other products from that year need to be completed. We are not sure when that will be completed. At present VIIRS processing is on hold because of an is...

Question: Using the Data

Re: Using the Data

Hello,
There is no need for further manipulation, I am assuming you are referring to the MCD43A3 Albedo product: https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/products/mcd43a3v061/
They are good to just as they are. If you notice any value anomalies, you can always check the QA bits for the data.
Thanks,

Question: GPP MYD17A2HGF units 8day

Re: GPP MYD17A2HGF units 8day

Hello,
I don't believe it would be advisable or accurate to divide by 8. It is probably unlikely that each day of the 8-day period had the same GPP value. So, it would be best to leave it as 8-day cumulative.
Thanks,
LPDAAC
