Hi Jeongho,
I am thinking those specific pixels are of questionable quality. Did you have a chance to look at the QA information for those pixels? If you could send me a specific Granule ID with the H/V number and date I could take a look and see what may be going on.
Thanks,
Brett

Re: MOD09A1 on 2001-06-18 missing
Hi Niklas, Sorry for the delay. We contacted the Science Team and the product developers on the corruption issues. Technically they don't consider it corrupted as much as the inability and challenges of the sensor to acquire data in the very high latitudes. They said: "the light blue area is ei...

Re: GEDI LAI
Hello, Unfortunately, LAI is not a layer in the GEDI L2B dataset. The most similar (but not interchangeable) layer would be the plant area index (PAI). You can view the dataset layers in the GEDI L2B Data Dictionary: https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/documents/980/gedi_l2b_dictionary_P003_v2.html?_ga=2.184374...

Re: Is MOD44B v061 available in a STAC?
Good Morning, Sorry for the confusion with the MOD44B in the STAC. Please note MOD44B 6.1 is in the STAC Catalog, but it's under the LPDAAC_ECS provider > https://cmr.earthdata.nasa.gov/stac/LPDAAC_ECS/collections/MOD44B.v061 This is a data collection that is still being served from on-premises, so ...

Re: MODIS data availability after 5/12/23?
Hi,
Sorry for the delay. The data providers did not say what the hold up was, but since you wrote we are back to leading edge. The data through May 23 is in. Thanks for your patience.
Brett

Re: Seeking Assistance with Downloading MCD18A1v061 Product
Hi Rishabh, The native format of the MCD18A1 as is with all MODIS is HDF. Maybe other forum users have thoughts on changing the many files from HDF to Geotiff. There are many different ways to access the data. You can alweays the Earthdata Search Tool: https://search.earthdata.nasa.gov/search Howeve...

Re: MOD16A2.061 availability on Google Earth Engine
Hi,
That would be a question for Google Earth Engine. GEE is not an LPDAAC site so we would have no idea on this. Because the MOD16A2 is a temporary product they may not. But that would be a questions for them.
Thanks,
Brett

Re: Could not retrive time and lat/lon info from MYD11C1 files.
Hi, Sorry for the hassles with the MYD11C1, the Climate Modeling Grids are a little different to work with then the tiled products. There is the Time of daytime (nighttime) observation SDS layer, but I am guessing it does not do you a lot of good if you do not have the coordinate that it goes with i...

Re: GEDI L1B
Hi Maye, Sorry for the delay, we passed your questions to the GEDI developers for their suggestions, please see the following: See the L2A ATBD. Only minor smoothing (2 ns Gaussian width) has been applied to reduce high frequency noise and eliminate ADC artifacts. The user may wish to apply addition...

Re: ground identification using GEDI waveform
Hello, The GEDI science team responded: There is sufficient information in the ATBD to derive an RH metric, but unfortunately no code examples. The L2A code is not yet publicly available, but derivation of RH metrics from simulated GEDI waveforms is available in the GEDI simulator (https://bitbucket...
