Question: How to create a True Color image with MODIS?

Re: How to create a True Color image with MODIS?

Your SeaDAS version is 8.3.0 and OCSSW version is V2022.2.

The current SeaDAS version is 9.1.0, and OCSSW is V2024.8.

You might want to update your OCSSW to V2024.8

Question: MODIS L3m DAY CHL chlor_a and MODIS L3b DAY. The CHL Difference
Replies: 1

Re: MODIS L3m DAY CHL chlor_a and MODIS L3b DAY. The CHL Difference

When you bin all the files like AQUA_MODIS.20190101T002000.L2.OC.nc on the day 20190101 by the product chlor_a, you get AQUA_ MODIS.20190101.L3b.DAY.CHL.nc

When you map the AQUA_ MODIS.20190101.L3b.DAY.CHL.nc file, you get AQUA_ MODIS.20190101.L3m.DAY.CHL.nc, which could be visualized by SeaDAS

Re: AQUA_MODIS chlorophyll-a processing

Could you please give us the name of one of the files you downloaded that you would like to open? SeaDAS can open most of the files that are available at https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/data/, except l3b files. For l3b files, you need to use SeaDAS to map them into l3m files to visualize. https://s...

Re: How to create a True Color image with MODIS?

I did modis_GEO on A2024300194500.L1A_LAC, and modis_L1B was successful too. I am using SeaDAS 9.1.0, OCSSW is V2024.8.

Can you do SeaDAS-Toolbox -> Software & System Info, and post the result here?

Re: System requirements of laptop for SeaDAS 7.5

The latest version of SeaDAS is 9.1.0, and we no longer support SeaDAS 7. If you are a college student looking to use SeaDAS 9 to analyze and process remote sensing data, a Mac laptop is recommended.
