Re: ECOSTRESS Highest resolution
Good Morning, The User Guide states 90 x 90, and I can't comment on that because I don't know their rationale or formula for arriving at that value, also, I don't know your formula for arriving at 45, but that does make it seem reasonable for the developers to arrive at ~70 meters, along with the fa...

Re: ECOSTRESS Highest resolution
Hello, In any given Ecostress swath directly from the sensor on board the ISS the pixel size ranges from ~38 meters x 69 meters to ~90 meters x 90 meters along the edge of the swath. So pixel size varies greatly as it does with most all satellite data. The derived products need to be uniform so ~70 ...

Re: Delay in Availability of MODIS Products (MOD09A1 & MYD09A1)
Hello, Sorry for the delay with the data processing. There are many factors that can affect data processing. It can be sensor and/or satellite related such as maneuvers and satellite issues. There will probably be more of this as Terra and Aqua age. Also, there can be issues at MODAPS as far as infr...

Hi Abraham,
We will ask this question to the developer of the product to get their ideas and let you know when we hear back.
Thanks,

Re: Harmonization or fusion of Landsat and Sentinel-2 data for geomorphological analysis of Italian rivers
Hi Rosita, I ran this by some science folks and we really don't think there is a good answer on how this can be done satisfactorily. The advantages of our HLS products are they take Landsat 8 and 9 and Sentinel 2 and use the same processing algorithm and are able to get coverage every 2-3 days at 30...

Re: MOD09GA in HDF Preprocessing
Hello, That is up to what you would like, it does not need preprocessing, it is atmospherically corrected. However, it is available in our AppEEARS tool which can perform many tasks such as subsetting by area and band, it can also reproject and reformat if you would like: https://appeears.earthdatac...

Re: partial download of modis and viirs data
Hello, I am not sure which MODIS and VIIRS products you are interested in, but most of our MODIS/VIIRS land products are available through our AppEEARS site: https://appeears.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/ AppEEARS will spatially and spectrally subset and it can reformat and reproject also. It outputs a ....

Thanks Rosita for the follow up.
I will see if our science folks have any suggestions. Also, hopefully someone from the generally science community that has some thoughts on this will chime in. I will let you know what I hear. Have a good weekend.

Re: how can i get or produce the MCD43A4 8days?
Good Morning, The temporal frequency of the MCD43 products can be a little confusing. They are a 16-day product that is produced daily. The day given in the individual granule IDs are actually the 9th day of the 16-day period. So, for instance, please see the 2 examples below: MCD43A4.A2024315.h11v0...

Re: how can i get or produce the MCD43A4 8days?
Hello, I would just like to verify, are you looking for a product like the MCD43A4 which is produced daily and uses 16 days, only it would be an 8-day instead of 16-day? Or is this a GEE question asking if it is capable of doing that? GEE is not a NASA site, so we are not sure about what all it does...
