OLI Collection 1 "converter" for SeaDAS 7.4, and CSV to placemark tools
Hi Alice,I'm glad you're able to unpack the bundle now!Believe it or not, I've not yet gotten around to trying to run "l2gen" on Landsat. We've only done some low level work with OLI data... We have exported geoTIFF images, using the File-Export->GeoTIFF menu item. Try both...

OLI Collection 1 "converter" for SeaDAS 7.4, and CSV to placemark tools

OLI Collection 1 "converter" for SeaDAS 7.4, and CSV to placemark tools
Hello,I've written a couple of Python scripts to assist (us, at least  ) in using SeaDAS. One converts a CSV file into a placemark file, and the other will unpack a Landsat 8 bundle and rename the files to the "old" scheme, allowing use of the Collection 1 files in SeaDAS 7.You m...

Adding more information: It's not just curl, wget exhibits the same behavior. It downloads a bit and then resets the connection.$ wget https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/getfile/A2018074193500.L1A_LAC.bz2wget https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/cgi/getfile/A2018074193500.L1A_LAC.bz2--...

Hello,We teach a Sat. Oceanography lab every year and rely on the OceanColor data and Seadas for part of the lab during the semester. I am sniffing out problems, (we had a LOT of connectivity issues last year) and am experiencing download timeouts from both the L1&L2 browser, and the "Direc...

COnnectivity issues
Disabling IPv6 ends up not being an option, as it breaks other services within my lab. The folks at my NOC think they are seeing some routing issues, and are going to try to reach out to the same group at your end to discuss what they're seeing.
Many thanks!
Many thanks!

Many thanks!I thought the traceroute from here (by my campus IT folks) seemed to stall at gigapop, without reaching you, didn't it?The results below show IPv6 has an issue... Anyhow, I have tried disabling IPv6 (and my firewall just to be sure!) and rebooting one of the worksatations here and st...
