Grab the new installer. It will not do any networking if you are using the --local option. I also noticed that you do not have 2 dashes in front of your command line options. You also need to add the option "--git-branch=v7.4"https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/ocssw/install_ocs...

Is there a reason you are not installing OCSSW using the GUI?I just changed a few things in preparation for the SeaDAS 7.5 release. You need to download the file:https://oceandata.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/ocssw/OCSSW_bash.env.v7.4 to:/home/suresh/seadas_downloads$ ./install_ocssw.py --local=$HOME/sea...

I may have found the problem. Type this command and let me know if anything is printed to the screen.$ bash -lThat is a minus "ell" If there is any output, look in your .bashrc or .profile and get rid of the echo statement that produces the output. That should fix SeaDAS....

I don't know how the current OLI reader in l2gen from SeaDAS 7.4 could have read a collection 01 file. The collection 01 *MTL.txt file is different enough that the reader parses it incorrectly. The behavior you are experiencing now (read failure) is what I would expect.

George, you are correct. A new OCSSW_bash.env got pushed to the web server accidentally.
Try updating OCSSW. It should work now.

issue with 'load parameter' in l2gen
When I save a par file with l2prod=Lt_nnn, SeaDAS changes it to l2prod=Lt_iii, Lt_vvv when saving. That works fine when reading the par file.
