Re: MODIS MOD09A1 v6.1 invalid QC codes?
Hello Hawthorne, Sorry for the delay, we contacted the PI/developer of this product for his take and he confirmed that we were reading the bits in reverse. OK, then the issue was why did the Mandatory Modland QA bits show "00" Good Data. He always thought the individual band quality QAs we...

Re: HEG resample error in linux
Hi @jianjun5212
I think the HEG folks will be able to help you with this: heg-support@earthdata.nasa.gov.
Also, we have a tool that will do the same functions and it has many other capabilities also. It is the AppEEARS tool: https://appeears.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov
Thanks,
Brett

Re: MCD19A3D has only 2 layers with NBAR when downloaded
Hello,
All 11 SDS layers should be in each HDF file, can you tell me what method you used to download the data and what GIS software you are using? In the meantime I will download a couple of those tiles and take a look
Thanks,
Brett

Hi @ carlsopr Could you give to me some of the AppEEARS order IDs where you are seeing this. I am looking at your orders and I see 2 area and 5 point requests. Supposedly AppEEARS should process all available pixels with an actual value that falls within your search criteria whether it is over land ...

Re: MODIS cloud remove
Ideally, that would be the case, if you are asking me is it more necessary for that purpose then it is with others, I am not sure. But undoubtedly the more accurate Surface Reflectance value is with the lower Aerosol level. One of the inherent issues with daily data is to find the balance between se...

Re: Missing MCD43 data for tiles h19v01 and h18v01
Hi Silvia, First, we apologize for the version discrepancies. We did here back from the LDOPE folks at MODAPS who develop the production algorithms and process the data. They felt that it was due to more stringent sun angle criteria that was used with for V061 processing. They also verified that thi...

Re: MODIS cloud remove
Hi Zhou,
It is recommended to use the Cloud State, as that is more definitive. Also, It contains, cloud mask from MOD35 and cloud/snow/aerosol/fire/shadow etc as determined by the reflectance algorithm. Hence users are encouraged to use the state flag from the MOD09GA.
Thanks,
Brett
