There are couple of ways you can reproject MODIS L1B swath products. You can utilize LAADS DAAC's post-processing option available from LAADS search and order interface. The LAADS post-processing during data order is probably the best option you have available. You can reproject your mosiac to Geographic grid using the "Reproject" option. You can find bounding coordinate in each files header metadata.

Production is on hold due to a satellite maneuver. The data testing and evaluation is in progress today and production should pick back up sometimes this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
