Yes - both software versions can use the same LUTs.
There are slight differences in the L2 file format between the two tags, but the scientific results should be the same.

Yes, there is a SeaDAS patch to address this in the works.
I don't know if it will be an update to V2024.1 or a new tag.

Check the existence of /ocssw/var/viirsn/polar_wander.ascii in your SeaDAS installation.

SNPP VIIRS processing is paused again. The GPS is not stable. There are no plans on recovery before next week.

I would assume lost. With SNPP being the tertiary platform, I don't expect much effort to recover the data.
