Re: When does new Sentinel-1 data become available through ASF
Sentinel-1 products are ingested at ASF as they are received from ESA. These then become available to download immediately. This process is continuous unless there is a problem with our data "pipeline." We recently experienced one of these problems, where the volume of data received from E...

Re: UAVSAR Data Consultation
Newer versions should reflect improvements/enhancements/corrections to the processing algorithm. I would suggest that you pick the latest version and only use these data for your analysis.

Re: UAVSAR Data Consultation
UAVSAR data available from ASF have been processed at JPL and sent to ASF for distribution. No further processing is done once a product is received at ASF. The only change made is to add a UA_ prefix to a JPL product name. Documentation for the UAVSAR products is available from JPL, and this includ...

Re: Ship Detection Project Share Using ASF API
Hello Drew, Thanks for sharing the results of your project -- we're always eager to learn how data downloaded from ASF are being used. We have a team that has investigated using SAR for ship detection, and I'm sure they'll find your work extremely interesting. I'm anxious to share this with them. Sh...

- Question: Sentinel-1 Frame Numbers

Re: Sentinel-1 Frame Numbers
There is no reference map available for Sentinel-1 ASF frames. Because of the dependence on time instead of a specific set of geographic coordinates when assigning frame numbers, "frame drift" can occur over time, where the frame number over the same spot may change. I recommend using Vert...

Re: I NEED 5M RESOLUTION
Please correct me if I'm mistaken, but I assume you are referring to the modified DEM file that is included with the ALOS PALSAR RTC product bundle. This file is a copy of an open-source DEM that was downloaded, modified, and used to perform radiometric terrain correction (RTC) on an ALOS PALSAR gra...
