Hi,
Sorry for the hassles with this, the tutorial has not been updated yet. Two weeks ago today AppEEARS was moved into the cloud. So that second URL (https://appeears.earthdatacloud.nasa.gov/api/) is correct.
Thanks,
Brett

Re: wget 403 forbidden
Hi Katie, Just want to see if you were able to try what I suggested yesterday: Here are a couple things we see that may be causing causing issues, can you give this a try 1.You will need to submit a token, not a username and password, to download an AppEEARS output file. Re: single scattering albedo data
Hi,
We are not sure who may have single scattering Albedo data. As you may already be aware, we have the MCD43A3: https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/products/mcd43a3v061/
and the MCD43D42 - the MCD43D61: https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/products/mcd43d42v061/
Thanks,
Brett

Re: MOD16A2 Version 6.1 product
Hi,
I am not sure if LAADS does, it doesn't appear so at this time. The LPDAAC does have the MOD16A2GF V061 through 2021: https://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/MOLT/MOD16A2GF.061/
Thanks,
Brett

Hi,
Landsat is not a NASA Earthdata product, so we can't answer the question. However, the Landsat folks at the USGS EROS data Center will be able to help. Here is there contact email: custserv@usgs.gov
Thanks,
Brett

Re: MOD16A2 Unit Conversion
Hi, Sorry for the delay, we wanted to confirm with the developer of the product. "The kg/m2/8day units are equivalent to mm/8day. Therefore, you just need to apply the 0.1 scale factor to get ET in the desired mm/8day units as noted below. As a check, the typical ET rate over a humid temperate ...

Hi Simon, Can you give me the Lat/Long of the area of the Volga River the picture represents? I would like to look at several MOD09GQ tiles for that area to see if they differ from one another. Did you notice that all MODIS tiles from that H/V were offset or just that one. If they are all offset wit...

Re: Large shift in a MOD09GQ image
Hi,
Do you have the granule ID(s) of the tiles involved? Did you get the data from the Earthengine or from the LPDAAC: https://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/MOLT/MOD09G ... 010.07.01/
Thanks,
Brett
