Re: Errors in MERRA-2 T2MWET (wet-bulb temperature)

Hello. Our team has requested the name of the variable and data collection, and also a time period of interest and area that can be used to examine the data. If you have any plots you have made of the data, they would be useful as well (you can post them here).

Re: MERRA-2 PM 2.5 vs. PM 10

Here is the reply from our GES DISC staff: ---- Yes, it is correct to assume PM 10 will ALWAYS be greater than PM 2.5. Inhalable coarse particles PM10 have a diameter of 10 micrometers (μm) or less. Finer particles, designated PM2.5, have a diameter of 2.5 μm or less. In the MERRA-2 FAQ page https:/...

Re: wget 1.21.3 64bit 404 Error in Windows 10 v20H2

One followup question: if you downloaded a subsetted file in netCDF format, do you have a way to convert that to GeoTIFF? If so, we can examine the error closely and attempt to determine why the spatial subsetting did not work. If you do not have a way to convert netCDF files to GeoTIFF, then findin...

Re: wget 1.21.3 64bit 404 Error in Windows 10 v20H2

Daniel, Hello. We have examined our servers and have determined that the only way you can get GeoTIFF subset files for the data you are seeking is to use Giovanni. The data products and values will be the same; however, our OPeNDAP server is not set up to provide spatial subsetted data as GeoTIFF. W...
