I am not sure which interface you had initially tried, but I believe AppEEARS will perform the processing that you desire. Please let me know if you have any questions.

MODIS true color band combination is 1,4,3 RGB. You may need to stretch it sometimes, but that should do it.

Hi, There really is no way that we know to definitively ascertain which of the 8 daily MOD09 granules was used in the specific 8 day granule that they coincide with.
