You can find MODIS Aqua L1 data on Earthdata Seach by using the search bar and facets on the left side of the screen as seen in the image attached. the URL will be appended with your selections for quick reference as seen above.

- What system/URL/ordering system are you accessing?
- Is there an order number we associated with the data you trying to retrieve? -- If so, what email address did you use to place the order(s)?

Where are you looking for this data? You can select a desired time range, choose a geographical point, and select a period (daily, monthly, etc). https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/l3/

From what you have written, it doesn't appear that you are doing anything wrong. I was able to replicate your issue earlier this morning for one of the files, but I seem to be able to download both files now. Can you try again and let us know if you are still having issues.

Information for HICO can be found on the Ocean Color web: https://oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov/hico/. At the bottom of the page, meetings are listed where presentations are linked and available for download. They discuss characteristics of the instrument and may have the answer to your question.
