VIIRS version labelling
This reprocessing is only for the OC and IOP products. The SST processing_version is still V2016.0.
The reprocessing is currently in mid-2013, so any refined OC/IOP later than then will still have the old version.

Sorry Dan,
L1A extracts are not yet supported for VIIRS.
It is on the the todo list and may be available soon.
You can order the full L1A and extract them yourself using SeaDAS or you can have our system extract the L2 products.

There was an unrecoverable instrument anomaly on that day (29 Sep 2017) that resulted in missing L0 data and partial L1A files. The incomplete daily file required some forcing to get it through the system. You should see it on the data server shortly.

We only distribute the Refined version of the data through OPeNDAP while the Direct Access page distributes both the QuickLook and Refined data. There is typically an 18 day delay between the the two versions while we wait for all the refined ancillary data types.
