I haven't seen anything posted at ASF that indicates any disruption in the Sentinel-1 pipeline, but ASF closed this holiday weekend. I'll see what I can find out and let you know.

JAXA provides some open ALOS-2 PALSAR ScanSAR data. Information on availability can be found on this product information webpage: https://www.eorc.jaxa.jp/ALOS/en/dataset/palsar2_l22_e.htm

Please note that ASF will have ALOS-2 data available through Vertex before the end of this year.

Sorry, I was too quick in my response yesterday! There is an API "health check" available:

Best to check Vertex if you suspect a system issue. The team is very prompt in posting notifications regarding data access issues as soon as they are aware of them, including scheduled and unscheduled outages.
