Empty files after processing

Hello,I processed some MODIS-A files with the standard corrections applied, using a shell script, from L1 to L3.Sometimes, an image is empty at the end (masks/clouds) so the final file is not saved (l3map). I wonder :1) How many pixels / percentage of pixels are required for a file to be saved ?2) I...

Missing data between L1&2 Browser and Order Data lists

Hi John I assume that in your first example for order data, you swapped the '2' and '4' in the first file name, so it should be A2016345124000.L1A_LAC?  That is listed as a daytime (D) granule.-> No, I really have these two files, one at 14:20 on the west part of my area (Irelan...

Consistent grid

Oh I think that I solved my problem. I did a mistake and forgot to add the "\" after the option for l3mapgen, I now have a consistent grid with the north/east etc coordinates. However, what I mentioned is an option in SNAP, you can give the software a grid (a matrix of lat and lon) in the n...

Missing data between L1&2 Browser and Order Data lists

Hello,I downloaded a list from "order data" in L1&2 browser, for my area (20°E-13°W | 50°N-70°N) which contains all the MODIS A since the beginning. However, I was suspicious about one image that was very small; so I digged a bit.It turns out that "Order data" and the manual w...

L1B files : Binning and format

Hello,

I have two questions :
1) Is there a way to bin L1B files (spatially / temporally) ? I would like to create daily MODISA files in L1B format.

2) Is there a way to convert the L1B file into netCDF ? Just to read it later with Matlab / Python.

Regards
