Re: Processing level 0 MODIS Aqua Product

Can you do "SeaDAS-OCSSW -> SeaDAS/System Info" and paste the printout here?

Also, please give the specific L0 file name you are working on, so I can try to replicate the error.

Please also tell us what version of SeaDAS you are using, what operating system you are on, what L0 file you are trying to work on and if you have installed modisa processor.

Re: MODIS L1C for C2RCC

As Sean pointed out in another post: "As the name implies, l2gen generates L2 files. We currently do not have an L1C processor."

Re: How to get the reflectivity from water by modis on seadas

Screen Shot 2021-04-07 at 5.58.21 PM.png You need to place the actual name of level-2file and file_to_attach in the command, like "ncdump -h A2015017054000.L2_LAC_OC > file_to_attach.txt". Then you can attach the "file_to_attach.txt" here by clicking the "Attachments" ...

Re: Hourly or Daily sea surface temperature

Thanks, George for pointing out the current naming convention. We are in the process of converting our data over to a new file naming convention. The link I posted is for the new naming convention. OC for ocean color, SST for sea surface temperature or IOP for inherent optical properties UTC time is...

Re: OCSSW Processor - MODIS

When you install_ocssw, did you use the option --modisa to install MODIS Aqua files? For more information on options, you can run install_ocssw -h. Also, I assume you installed SeaDAS-7.5.3, for SeaDAS OCSSW processing on Windows is not yet supported in SeaDAS 8.0.0, but is coming soon. Here is more...

Re: SeaDAS not Reading Data

Thanks for sharing more detailed information. I did repeat your error reading A20192742019304.L3m_MO_CHL_chlor_a_4km.nc and AQUA_MODIS.20190101_20190131.L3m.MO.SST.sst.4km.nc. It's a known issue for SeaDAS 8.0.0 in reading files with null value attributes in metadata. The fix will be in the next rel...
