Yes, you need to install Hawkeye processor for l2gen to process Hawkeye data. Follow "Install with GUI" instruction on the downloads page: https://seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov/downloads/ and make sure you check the box beneath hawkeye. Here's the help page for install_ocssw: https://seadas.gsfc.na...

You need to tell us more. Can you take a screenshot of your l2gen GUI window and post it here?

To help us diagnose, can you also do "SeaDAS-OCSSW -> SeaDAS/System Info" and post the output here?

SeaDAS 8.1.0 was released, and it can now read L3m files like A20192742019304.L3m_MO_CHL_chlor_a_4km.nc and AQUA_MODIS.20190101_20190131.L3m.MO.SST.sst.4km.nc. You are welcome to try it: https://seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov/downloads/

Did you install OCSSW by command line? It seems to me ocssw is in the right place.

I wonder what your OCSSWROOT says when you do SeaDAS-OCSSW -> Configure OCSSW.

Can yo post the output of SeaDAS-OCSSW -> SeaDAS/System Info here?
