Re: Consolidated Laser Ranging Prediction Format (CPF) of jason-2 mission

After asking our Jason-2 provider, they told us that they do not provide H5, 20, or 30 records for Jason-2. The reasoning for this is that H5 records are only used for "cannon ball" satellites (LAGEOS, ETALON, Stella, etc.) where the center of mass is stable (not affected by fuel distribut...

Re: MGEX navigation files (brdmDDD0.YYp.Z)

After 21-Jun-2020, the provider of these files stopped uploading them regularly to the CDDIS because the short name MGEX files are being phased out. The files are still available in long name format (BRDM00DLR_S_YYYYDDD0000_01D_MN.rnx.gz) under https://cddis.nasa.gov/archive/gnss/data/campaign/mgex/...

Re: Perl script to download hourly GNSS data

To change from using ftp to ftp-ssl in a Perl script, you will need to change more than just the URL. You will need to use a different library such as Net::FTPSSL. You can also make the calls via HTTPS using something such as Net::HTTPS or use another library like Net::Curl. No matter which way you ...

The IGS analysis center coordinator retrieves these solutions and produces a combined product, which is then in turn archived at the...
