Re: MODISL2 hdf to tiff and reprojection
So MODIS_2008097_SWIR.hdf is the L2 file created by l2gen? What SeaDAS tool did you use to create the tiff file MODIS_2008097.tif?
Are you able to use the reproject tool in SeaDAS to create the GeoTiff file? https://seadas.gsfc.nasa.gov/help-8.2.0/desktop/Reprojection.html

Re: About nlw data output problem
I replicated your problem. Please make sure that your "selected products" on the "Products" tab in the l2gen GUI does not include nLw (nLw_1238 nLw_1604 nLw_2258 nLw_746 nLw_868 nLw_vvv are fine). Mine looks like this -- Kd_490 Rrs_vvv angstrom aot_868 chlor_a nLw_1238 nLw_1604 n...

Re: About SGLI’s Rrs Data
Do you have GC1SG1_202005030219J06710_1BSG_IRSDQ_2000.h5 in the same directory with GC1SG1_202005030219J06710_1BSG_VNRDQ_2000.h5?
You need to have IRSDQ file in the same directory as the VNRDQ file. Hope this post can be helpful. viewtopic.php?t=3180
