l2gen on viirs needs L1A(or L1B) + GEO as input.

What happens when you click "Okay" in that dialog? Are you able to proceed further with l2gen GUI?

Please update your OCSSW to V2022.1 and try l2gen again.

If you don't have OCSSWROOT defined, you can do

ocssw_runner --ocsswroot /shares/cms_optics/apps/seadas/ocssw/V2022.1/ update_luts -v modisa

Actually, you can try V2022.1

V2022.1 is available now.

Please let us know a few things so we can replicate the error:

1. what version of SeaDAS and what tag of OCSSW you are using.
2. the name of an L1A file you processed
3. command line or GUI

V2022.0 has some issues with naming conventions. Please try R2022.19

It seems that you downloaded seadas_8.2.0_mac_installer.sh in the directory of /Users/mileishalyannvelazquez/Downloads.

You can do

sh ./seadas_8.2.0_mac_installer.sh

Thanks for letting us know the issue. We fixed the problem. terra, viirsn, viirsj1 should all return the new ancillary data sets.
