MODIS Level-1 (L1) and higher-level Level-2 (L2) & Level-3 (L3) Atmosphere Team products The missing atteph files should show up shortly.

There was an unrecoverable instrument anomaly on that day (29 Sep 2017) that resulted in missing L0 data and partial L1A files. The incomplete daily file required some forcing to get it through the system. You should see it on the data server shortly.

We only distribute the Refined version of the data through OPeNDAP while the Direct Access page distributes both the QuickLook and Refined data. There is typically an 18 day delay between the the two versions while we wait for all the refined ancillary data types.

They are mixed granules with both day and night pixels. You can check the metadata for global attributes :day_night_flag = "Mixed" ; to exclude them from your processing.

From what we can see, your email host is checking the return-path in our email header to detect spam.
A recent configuration change here has caused our system to use the wrong return-path.
Your server is rejecting the emails and bouncing them back. Our systems administrators are working on a fix.
