Lake processsing
Hi Sean,Sorry for the multiple questions. I have followed your suggestion to set maskland=0 or land=$OCDATAROOT/common/landmask_null.dat, but both still didn't show me the land (land area was gray with NaN value).. I tried to set maskcloud=0 to test if my settings were wrong, but it turns out th...

Thanks Sean.
Another question is, can BEAM read the l2gen generated HICO data? I tried to use BEAM but failed. It says can not decode the file.

Hi Sean,Regarding what you have said above, I was wondering if it is possible not to mask the land when using l2gen to process HICO? What should I do if I want to keep all the pixels (waters and land) and apply atmospheric correction to the whole scene using l2gen?I have similar problem with him as ...

Correcting offset in HiCO geolocation
Hi, an earlier post in this forum explained the reason for some HiCO images not being geolocated quite correctly. I noticed when viewing a cloud free image in SeaDAS 7.0.2 that when I enabled the coastal mask, that it did not line up correctly with the image (in this case quite a few km off). But af...

HICO level 2 processing
Thank you Jasmine,
Are you aware of any SEADAS chlor-a algorithm that would be "best" suited for retrieving the product from HICO data in inland waters, e.g. a lake, or is all this at experimental stages?
Regards,
R

Hi Sean,
Thanks, thats great info, I wish would actually go ahead and explain the 384, I am keen to understand a little bit more about HICO. Let me know what you would suggest as a thorough read on this.
Well, nice to meet you the other day at Cornell.

R

HICO level 2 processing
Hi Sean,I am processing HICO L1b data using Seadas 7, and an IDL code as a wrapper from L1 to L3. I understand that HICO processing "simulates" the MERIS bands. However, I would wish to clarify the following:1. Is the HICO processing set up under SEADAS 7 meant to generate exactly the same...
