Re: CMR has no entries for MOD13Q1.061 files at LP DAAC
zhan.li & earthengine_urs , As was mentioned before, the LP DAAC is in a state where on-prem data is actively being moved to the NASA Earthdata Cloud. When those on-prem (i.e., provider=LPDAAC_ECS) collections are moved to the cloud (i.e., provider=LPCLOUD) they receive a new concept ID, AND th...

Re: Query about GEDI time quantum
deace , It is not clear to me what you’re asking for exactly. GEDI continuously collects lidar samples globally from the International Space Station. If you’re trying to find and access data that spatially and temporally intersect with you research parameters, I would recommend using Earthdata Sear...

@edwardsch ,
Have you tried from another browser? Even after clearing my cache in Chrome is still get an error, but when I try from Firefox I'm able to download the tile.

Re: MODIS data exposed through CMR STAC API
valpesendorfer , The LP DAAC currently has two provider endpoints within the CMR STAC API. One for "LPDAAC_ECS" ( https://cmr.earthdata.nasa.gov/stac/LPDAAC_ECS/ ) and one for "LPCLOUD" ( https://cmr.earthdata.nasa.gov/stac/LPCLOUD/ ). The LPDAAC_ECS endpoint will contain metada...

Re: How to calculate NDVI from MODIS MOD09GQ?
@5479584.asdf, I was able to replicate what you are seeing in QGIS. I don’t see a problem other than you should be quality filtering these data before you calculate the NDVI. The MODIS granule you downloaded will have a “QC_250m_1” layer in it that you should use to quality filter your data. The QA ...

Re: Reprojection
rkshah , From what I can tell, what you are seeing is what is expected. The rows and columns of the grid will change, as well as the pixel count, when you transform from the Sinusoidal grid to your UTM projection. Any tool or utility that reprojects will exhibit this. Is there anything else that le...

Re: Reprojection
rkshah , "But while counting the pixel, both gives different results." If you are seeing a different number for rows and columns or total pixels after reprojecting from sinusoidal, that is to be expected. If you are seeing data values that we not in the source file, that suggests that nea...

Re: Verify that your username and password are correct in .netrc
@ouaretwa ,
It looks like your .netrc file might be in the wrong directory. Could you move your .netrc file to your user profile directory (e.g., C:\Users\ouaretw\.netrc)? Let us know if that works.

Re: Unsuccessful attempts to download global vegetation data mod13a3v061 using Cloud API
sclare , Thank you for reaching out, and we apologize for the inconvenience. The behavior you described appears to be a bug, and it looks like it has existed since before our cloud deployment. We’ve recorded the problem and will be looking into a solution. In the meantime, you can break up your sin...

Re: Data Download LP DAAC Data Pool via Java
ryust , We've taken a look at the Java code you linked to on the Earthdata Login wiki page (https://wiki.earthdata.nasa.gov/display/EL/How+To+Access+Data+With+Java). We were not able to replicate your error message. In fact, we were not able to download a valid .zip file using the Java code provide...
